I know it’s been awhile, I hope you are all doing well. We are still getting things together over here. But I wanted to stop by to let you know Shopbop is having their Friends & Family sale – too good to miss! Get 25% off with the code inthefam.
So here we are – the end of February. And my last post was beginning of January?! Yikes. I know it’s been a way too long since I’ve been here. It’s been pretty crazy, we moved into our home. Yay! My parents are remodeling their place, so we are helping out as much as we can in between.. and then there’s that full time job. Anyway, I hope to share some photos of the house with you as soon as we get settled in. And I’m hoping to find more time to post, I’m missing this little place of mine.
This is definitely not your traditional bridal collection. There’s no frill or tulle here – Elizabeth Suzann’s White Collection is all about simplicity and clean lines. These pieces are meant for every part of your special day – ceremony, rehearsal dinner, bridesmaids, and even the honeymoon. Read more about Elizabeth’s vision and collection here.
Happy New Year!! I know I’m a few days late, but I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to the new year. Last year, I spent way too much time at work – and as happy and thankful as I am to have a job, working 60+ hour weeks can quickly become super draining. This year, I’m going to make a conscious effort to have a good work-life balance, I’m going to focus on the important things – God, family, friends and myself. I want to live in the present, spend quality time with loved ones, and make memories. And as you may know, we just bought a house, so we are so excited for a new start and a place we can now make a home :)
I shared a photo of this vase on my Instagram last week when it launched, but I wanted to share this on my blog as well (because I love it so much).
My friend Jackie of Munster Rose teamed up with Doug Trotter of Prairie Garden to create Kindred – a new line of beautiful handmade vases. They are shaped by hand and then glazed using a single-dipped glazing process, making each piece unique but equally beautiful. There are two different styles, the horn and upright (which is the one I have) – both have a simple and beautiful design – truly a perfect piece for any home. You can read more about the collaboration here and purchase them here.
