I am Thankful…

November 25, 2013

I am thankful for…

1 | A family who loves and supports me
2 | The relationships formed and friends I’ve met in this creative blogging community
3 | A warm bed to sleep in these chilly nights

I know we will all be reflecting on what we’re thankful for this week, but thankfulness shouldn’t only be during Thanksgiving. I know for me, life can be unpredictable, chaotic and always on the go, but it’s important to take a little break and reflect on our blessings. I’ve been trying to get in the habit of writing three things I’m grateful for daily, a suggestion given to me by my girl, Alecia. So, today I’m going to share with you these little cards I’ve been using – free for you to download! / NOTE: These were printed on grey cardstock.

Tell me, what are you thankful for??

Love this! And I’m thankful for our friendship :)

Nice post. I am Thankful for my family, friends and co-workers. I am also thankful for having the simple things but necessary things in life, like food, a place to rest and a car to drive. Happy Thanksgiving!

I love these, thank you for sharing! I am thankful for family who loves me and supports me despite the distance

  • Brooke

This is such a wonderful post :) I agree, we should be thankful everyday, but sometimes we get so caught up we forget to be appreciative! Writing down things you are thankful for each day is a great idea—and where better to write it than on your beautiful notecards?!

  • bri

this is such a great reminder. we’ve been having some troubles lately over here and i need to keep reminding myself of all the things i’m thankful for, not just the things i don’t/can’t have. thanks!

I love the things you’re grateful for and couldn’t agree with them more! xx

In love with this, V!!! And what a great way to give thanks! So much to be thankful for, you’re right, it’s good to acknowledge 3 things a day!! I need to start doing that as well :) But for now, I’m thankful for the time I have to spend with my family, my home, and my friends!! xo <333

I love the idea of writing down three things you’re thankful for every day. It’s a good reminder to be grateful and I feel like on a bad day, it would certainly make me feel better. I’m thankful that I get to go home for the first time this year in less than a month!

  • Sarah

I think daily gratitude is so very important. I’m thankful for food in our refrigerator! We’ve never gone hungry, and that makes us rich. =)

  • Corina Nika

These are lovely, V! It is so easy to not take the time to be thankful every single day. I know I don’t do it enough. Thanks for the reminder to remember to be thankful all the time. This printable will definitely help me remember :) Happy Monday!

  • Kristyn @ Milk + Crown

I like the idea of writing three things you’re thankful for each day! I should definitely get in that habit :) Love your list. Today, I’m thankful for Christmas music ;) It’s so festive and makes me happy!

  • Kelly Brito

What a lovely note pad design!!!

I don’t give Thanksgiving half the attention most people do. Although I see it as a special date, I’m thankful for so many things on a daily basis, that Thanksgiving is just another day on my list. But on this day, specially, I try to remember the ones who have a tough life and wish them a happier day, with more to be thankful for and things to look forward to.

  • Cintya

What a great idea, and thank you for the free download, I’ll be sure to use them. I also agree that we should be thankful all year ’round and not just during this time of year. Just like yourself, I’m thankful for the wonderful people I’ve met thru this blogging community.

  • Miranti | Pen & Peplum

These are lovely! I wish we celebrated thanksgiving here in Australia. I am thankful for the opportunity to spend my days doing what I love.

  • Kory

That’s such a good idea to reflect on three things each day. What a perfect way to make us more thankful all year long!

It’s really pretty! I’m very envious that you get to celebrate thanksgiving, to show gratitude to the people around you. In Singapore, we do not have such an occasion, and people do not express their appreciation much, especially to family who we always take for granted /:

  • alice-jane

Happy early Thanksgiving to you Victoria! Loving the design of the notes and I totally agree with you that we need to remember the things that we are thankful for, not only on Thanksgiving but all the other days as well. Definitely thankful for a warm bed (and a warm comforter) as well as knitwear for these cold winter nights.

  • Rhiannon

Can I be thankful for life, just in general? So simple but so meaningful. :)

  • KIM

that’s great! i have been trying to be more thankful daily and come up with things to share with my family. when crisis hits it’s easy to see what’s important and what you’re thankful for :)

  • emma

    Really pretty printables!

  • Alecia

so gorgeous! This year I am extremely thankful for my blog, it has been my lifeline these past few months. It is my own space to reflect, think more creatively, and find my voice. It gives me such joy to be able to share my work with an incredibly inspiring community. And you are a part of that community that has welcomed me with open arms and motivated me to keep going during a very hard season in my life. All my love to you V!

I am so happy to hear you have been writing down 3 daily gratitudes. It has changed my attitude and helps me to think and reflect on the positive things in my life rather than the negative.

I am so thankful to know you!
