I have to share these beautiful Mourning Dove Native necklaces with you. I love how these pieces can be delicately layered or worn separately. The bar necklace is something I’ve been wearing daily – it pretty much goes with anything and everything. But you really should check out Shio’s shop – she mixes natural stones, such as turquoise and quartz, with gold and silver hardware to create beautiful necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Each piece is hand-made and inspired by her Native American culture.
Shio and I have come together to do an Instagram giveaway – one winner will receive $40 store credit to Mourning Dove Native. You can enter here.
This is my I’m over the freakin’ weather outfit. Can’t wait for the days when I can just throw on a simple dress with some flats and walk outside ;) What I love about this dress is its simplicity and versatility. This look right here is obviously for the warmer days, but when it’s freezing, just layer it with knits, leggings, boots, and a scarf.

February was a busy, crazy good month, but I’m excited and anxious about some more changes coming soon… here’s to March. I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!
I’m sure you all have heard of Clementine Daily. It’s a space for the everyday, modern women, with amazing photos and articles regarding everything – beauty, home, style, living, and food.
I recently had the chance to do some photography for them and had so much fun! I love everything they post, but I really want to share these two with you.
Natural dry skin remedies – My skin is very sensitive, so I like to stay away from all those chemicals and fragrances. This article shares a great variety of natural products you can use to moisturize.
How to discover your own love language – I never knew what a love language was until a few years ago, and trust me, once you find yours and your partner’s love languages, the relationship get sooo much better.
Sorry I’ve been a little MIA on here, things have been getting a little crazy so it may be quiet around these parts for awhile, I hope to get to posting regularly soon! Have a great weekend!
I got the BEST surprise in the mail – this Hackwith Design House x Parc Boutique bleached blouse!! Eeek! And yes, like I said on IG, it is even more gorgeous in person. Lisa is so good at what she does. I mean have you seen a bleached pattern look this good?! And the fit is perfection – I cannot wait for the weather to warm back up so I can wear this every single day.
I know I can go on and on forever about Parc and Hackwith Design, but seriously, I can’t help it – I swoon over everything they do! We’re just meant to be, I’ve decided.
Have you seen Kate in HDH here and here??
Wow, when was the last time I did a Casual Monday post? I checked and it was October, I guess I just skipped over winter. Probably because I was rocking the same over-sized sweater everyday ;)
As you can probably tell, I was inspired by this weekend’s warm, high 70′s weather when I put this look together…. it’s not so much like that anymore. But I’m not going to let a cold front and some rain ruin my style mood. I’m so excited for these light, neutral pieces for Spring!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Happy Monday!
01 | House Plants 101 My house has been filling up with greens, and it makes me so happy. Bri put together a guide with tips on how to care for some common houseplants. What are you growing in your home?
02 | Inspire, Believe, Create Wallpaper Corina is my girl, and she made these amazing wallpapers for you to download – the graphic and hand lettering are serious perfection. Talk about inspiring ;)
03 | Lesson Learned: Days in Hours Am I the only one who feels like there’s not enough hours in the day?? I’ve been a mess lately, hence the lack of posts :-/ I’ll get better I promise, especially after reading this post. Cassie did a little experiment to help her visualize how her time is spent – pretty genius.
04 | Homemade Hot Cocoa Mix This is for all my friends affected by the blizzard / snowstorm. Stay warm!
Okay so I’m really loving these leather mules and shopping tote – perfect simple black pieces that would look great with pretty much anything and everything I own. Plus, since the weather has warmed up a lot lately, I’m ready to transition from boots/booties to something more “spring” – hello mules! But let me not speak to soon, watch a cold front come through tomorrow, and we’re below freezing again…
What are you loving these days?
When I first came across Acre Goods jewelry, I immediately fell in love with their beauty, simplicity, and uniqueness.
Michelle designs and hand-crafts each piece from her Brooklyn studio. What started out as a hobby and creative outlet while interning full time in college, has turned into something more – a passion and business. She states, “Physically making the jewelry was just as fun for me as was running the business, so I kept at it as a side project while transitioning out of school and moving to New York. After about a year, I realized that this was what I wanted to pour my heart into, so I jumped out of the production/fashion world and into my apprenticeship as a jeweler. It’s hard to convey how great that decision felt.”
She finds her inspiration from, first – nature and second – confident women. Mix the two together – she wants to design for women who feel connected to the earth and feel powerful when wearing something from it or that resembles it in some way – whether literal or abstract, so she loves working with stones and crystals.
Michelle carves each piece out of wax by hand. Then, a prototype is made in metal and a mold is made from that model. Each piece comes back from the casting house in raw form, and she hand-finishes them in the studio. “There are many steps that go into producing a single piece, and I’ve learned to really value and treasure the process as well as the result.”
