I am excited to share a few photos of our wedding day with you. Everything was planned in eight weeks, and it was absolutely perfect. We didn’t want a fancy production, just a day to celebrate our love and life together with our closest friends and family. And that’s exactly what it was. There was no bridal party, just the two of us, the bride and groom – surrounded by people who have been there for us through some of our happiest and toughest times, who continuously support and encourage us, who love us with an unconditional love.
The great thing about planning a wedding in a short period is you can eliminate all the little, unnecessary things and focus on the big stuff. There’s no time to ponder and contemplate, just make a quick, informed decision and move on. We didn’t stress over the small details, but remained focused on the true meaning of the day. Things may not have gone perfectly as planned, but that’s not what it’s about, it’s about having fun and enjoying the moment – because trust me, it will be gone before you know it.
Happy April!! I can’t believe it’s the 4th month (and probably the 4th blog post) of 2015. Work is starting to slow down a bit so I’m hoping this “one post a month” thing will change soon. Actually, today is my day off, and I have absolutely nothing planned – just want to relax, chill and be in complete, total bum mode. But I also wanted to come by to show you my new favorite Larsson & Jennings silver chain watch – such a beauty. I was between this and the black chain (both gorgeous) but I wanted something light for Spring / Summer. I love the minimalistic design – classic and simple – perfect for everyday wear.
Anyway, have a wonderful Wednesday! Time to continue my Friends marathon.
Sigh… Mango’s Premium Spring 2015 collection is so perfect. You know I’m all about simplicity and versatility, but what I really love are the subtle details that makes each piece unique – like the back this black dress. Well it looks like the freeze has officially taken over all of America – stay warm and be safe, friends!
I know we are in the second week of the second month of 2015, but it’s never too late to snatch up one of these beautiful planners from Julia Kostreva, am I right? Okay, I know I am way behind, but work has completely taken over life, and everything has been put on the back burner. I seriously cannot remember the last time I had one day off, and I’m really about to lose my sanity. I am making a conscious effort to take some time before and after work to rest my mind and let some creativity flow, so hopefully I’ll get back to blogging on the regular soon.
