I hope your week is going well! Temps are finally starting to drop and it’s beginning to feel like winter. Need Supply is having a winter sale so I’ll be stocking up on some warm accessories – like this scarf or this one, these socks, this beanie, and maybe this hat too :) Here are some of my other favorites, what’s yours?
Hello friends!! Wow, it’s been nearly a month since my last post – longest unintentional break ever :-/ Work has completely taken over – I leave the house early in the morning when it’s dark and I come home at night when it’s dark – I really have no idea where the day goes. So when I’m not working, I’m really conscious with how I spend my time… I could keep going and going forever, so it’s important for me to slow down, take some time for myself, relax, enjoy the moment and definitely spend lots of time with family and friends.
As much as I love this blog of mine, I didn’t want it to become an extra stress, an extra thing on my to-do list… after all, this is suppose to be my creative outlet, and I want everything to be genuine and natural, not artificial and forced. So, that’s why it’s been a little silent, but I’m still here! I know there’s never going to be that perfect work-life balance, but as my schedule becomes more stable, I’ll get back into the swing of things – do some making and creating :)
Anyway, let’s catch up – let me know what’s going on with you!
The creativity and vision between Parc Boutique owner, Thao, and photographer, Wing of Canary Grey is just unbelievable. I know I’m always saying the same thing when it comes to Parc, but seriously, they never fail to amaze me with their concepts, inspiration and imagery. Filled with beauty, simplicity and sophistication, their Winter 2014 Lookbook is absolutely gorgeous – with a mix of dark and light, it features must-have accessories, boots, and pieces perfect for the cold, winter season.
With November flying by and the holidays approaching, Lulu & Georgia is the perfect place to find gifts for everyone on your list. They have everything from stationaries, accessories, art prints, table decor, rugs to furniture! Since we went from hot Summer to freezing Winter with little to no Fall in between, I’ve been eying this throw to keep me warm. I’m so excited to be teaming up with them to offer $100 store credit to their shop – you can enter by using the rafflecopter below.
Go grab a cup of coffee (or tea), browse around and let me know your favorites!
Apartment 34 just launched their Holiday Shop, and wow, it’s like all of my favorite designers came together to give us one amazing collection. Each piece is not only beautifully designed but also unique, as there were only limited quantities made.
Just coming by to wish you all a wonderful weekend. I’ve been working 6 am shifts the past two week, so sleeping in is currently the plan. I’m not complaining though – no rush hour traffic and done with work in the middle of the day… all good to me ;)
I have always been a huge fan and admirer of Eva Black. I remember when I first saw my friend’s blog, love court xoxo, I gasped at all the gorgeous lettering/watercolor and immediately knew it was Eva’s work. She was doing watercolor, ink pens and handlettering way before it started trending. I love how her designs are so simple yet so unique – that’s not the easiest thing to do, and she’s so good at it.
I can’t believe it’s already November. Only 2 more months until 2015… crazy. I don’t know why the cold weather caught me off guard, but it did. I wasn’t ready. And I just donated all my clothes, so I’ll have to replenish my winter wardrobe… starting off with these beautiful pieces.
03 | I’ve seen muuto dots pop up a lot lately, but I think I’m loving this DIY version even more – simple, minimal, and a great addition to any room.
04 | I’m not much of a caramel fan, but I’ll make an exception for this salted caramel filled molten chocolate cake. If you don’t know Izy from top with cinnamon, go check her out now. Her photo styling is impeccable and effortless, her recipes are unique and delicious, she just released her first cookbook, oh and she’s only 18. Talk about insane talent!
